Our Story

I am proud to mention that Bascik Transport has become the brand name in the freight and logistics industry of New Zealand, which was started by my parents Mervin and Pauline Bascik as a small Christchurch transport provider in 1970. We have over the decades moved with the changing market and have established a strong national network without compromising our family values. I, Tony Bascik, became the Managing Director in 2000, and I have stuck to our service and innovation motto, so that we are always first when it comes to service.

Our Work

We own a large fleet of specially designed depots and vehicles, which enable us to deliver freight between Auckland and Christchurch and across the South Island, every day. We provide a full set of services, such as the express freight, warehousing and logistics, as well as vehicle transport. The MPI-accredited warehouses are strategically located and are specifically designed to fit all warehousing requirements with a special consideration to food-grade management and standard cleanliness and security.
